Screamfest® Horror Film Festival is a 501c3 nonprofit organization formed in 2001 to provide talented filmmakers and writers in the genre a platform to showcase their work. The annual 10-day film festival takes place in October at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood premiering American and international independent horror films. Many of the filmmakers have garnered distribution and representation as a result of the festival. Screamfest launches careers. The 19th annual film festival takes place Oct. 8-17, 2019.

In addition to the annual film festival, Screamfest® hosts monthly screenings of classic and new films to keep our fan base engaged year-round. Q&As following the screenings giving the audience a chance to interact with the filmmakers and cast. Past screenings include, MOM & DAD with Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair, FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VII: NEW BLOOD, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: DREAM MASTER, TALES FROM THE CRYPT: DEMON KNIGHT and many more.
