Initially working as a producer/director for international production companies, Jud Willmont later founded Willmountain Films to be the umbrella company for both his commercial and independent work. Willmont has produced and directed numerous TVCs for brands such as Coca-Cola, Cadillac, Nike, L'Oréal, Budweiser, Huawei and many more. He produced and directed two feature-length documentaries, “Down: Indie Rock in the PRC”, and “Return to the Mountain: a Taiji Journey”, as well as a 20 episode drama series for CCTV titled “The Informant”. Most recently, Willmont has completed a feature film shot in Shanghai and is currently in development on a 2nd feature film, a short form episodic series, and a feature documentary series currently being shot in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Since moving to Shanghai in 2013, Nicholas Z. Scott has written, produced, and directed over 20 independent short films, winning awards in the Shanghai 48 Hour Film Project, the Shanghai International Short Film Competition, and the Shanghai International Film Festival. In addition to his filmmaking, Scott has taught film and screenwriting at various universities such as the Shanghai Vancouver Film School, NYU Shanghai, Tulane Global, and the University of Michigan - Shanghai Jiao Tong Joint Institute. He most recently finished writing, directing, and producing his first feature, a Chinese superhero noir.
