An American scientifi c expedition to the frozen wastes of the Antarctic is interrupted by a pair of seemingly mad Norwegians pursuing and shooting at a husky. The helicopter explodes in an accident, and the Norwegians are killed, leaving no explanation for the chase. During the night, as the scientists look on in shock, the husky mutates and attacks the other dogs in the camp.
